I've sold things on craigslist before. But this week takes the cake. In fact, it inspired a new blog.  I hope you enjoy some of the responses I've received from Nigeria, Russia, and all over the world.

In response to my ad for 17" chrome rims, which I described as "in great condition" and available until the ad is pulled I received the following (among many, many others):

Hello 


I'm Pleased to ask if the item is still available and in a good condition.Kindly get Back if it is.

To which I responded:

I am more pleased than words can describe to announce that the item [actually 4 items, since you don't have a clue what I'm selling] is in the same condition I stated in the post, which was in English, clear, and reads left to right, top to bottom.  Additionally, it will be available as long as the post is still online.  

But, in that I said all of that in the ad I posted, and given that it is unlikely your reading skills have improved in the intervening 17 minutes, I doubt my response will assist you.
